What is the Montessori Method?

Montessori Method helps child to grow, full development of social, emotional; Spiritual and cognitive parts of the child.

Hands on teaching, encouraging children to develop their observation skills. Use of five sense, kinetic movement, spatial refinement, small and large motor co-ordination.

The Principles are applied to an individual not to a class of children, that there is continual possibility of development for each child according to own rhythm of progress and to his own individual potentiality.

What do children really get out of Montessori?

The Montessori approach is often described as an “education for life.”

Montessori schools work to develop culturally literate children and nurture their fragile sparks of curiosity, creativity and intelligence. They have a very different set of priorities from traditional schools and very low regard of mindless memorization and superficial learning.

Montessori schools are different, but it isn’t just because of the materials that are used in the classrooms. The classroom is a place where children really want to be, because it feels a lot like home.
