Our Goal at Little Genius Montessori is to give you and your child the best possible experience through learn and play. Our classrooms are carefully organized and designed to meet the development skills of the child.
We follow Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy. Her research had concluded that intelligence is not rare among human beings. It manifests itself in natural and spontaneous curiosity of the young child from birth.
We pay more attention to the hidden nature of the child at a given stage of development and design the environment for learning within which children will feel safe, cherished and empowered.
We focus on five areas of Montessori Curriculum
- Practical life
- Sensorial
- Math
- Language
- Cultural /science/ arts
Montessori material is used to teach the child to concentrate, coordinate, order and become independent and responsible.
Student will work individually (or) in a small, self selected groups. There will be very few whole group lessons. Students will progress at their own pace, moving on to the next step in each area of learning. As Montessori classrooms are communities of children and parents, we encourage parents to participate in child activities.
Our teachers are Montessori trained teachers.
